Started playing this a couple days ago because I wanted to play KB but not ones I already had. I've played Legend and Armoured Princess in the past.

But even with that in mind, unit balance feels rather poor in Dark Side, and the story feels less intriguing than in Armored Princess or Warriors of the North, so I wouldn't recommend starting with Dark Side.
